Job Title: Director of Sales – Select Service;
Location: Austin, Texas;
Salary: $65K - $75K + Bonus
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts for our portfolio of select service hotels. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue, build strong client relationships, and ensure the success of our properties in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities- Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for all assigned select service properties.
- Analyze market trends, competitive data, and business opportunities to identify and target key segments.
- Collaborate with property General Managers and Revenue Management teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and attending industry events.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions and maintaining open communication.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of select service hotel operations and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed to support properties and attend industry events.
