Dock Manager
The Dock Manager will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient end-to-end shipping/receiving and inter-site logistics operations for tools and sensitive materials by maintaining standards, supervising material flow, resolving discrepancies, standardizing processes, and driving performance through KPIs.
Responsibilities include maintaining the 6S program for shipping and receiving at two locations, coordinating loading, unloading and packaging decontamination operations for semiconductor tools, managing and supervising logistics for raw materials, parts, supplies and sensitive devices, resolving damaged shipments, working with Supply Chain to resolve quantity mismatches, creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for shipping, receiving and distribution, managing daily courier runs between sites, and defining and tracking key process indicators (KPIs).
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, five years in a logistics position managing and supervising logistics for raw materials, parts, and supplies, ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions, ability to take the initiative and drive for results, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery, demonstrated strong customer service orientation and ability to take ownership for issue resolution.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree with focus/courses in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field, three or more years of experience in a semiconductor logistics position, managing and supervising logistics for raw materials, parts, and supplies, demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships, proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
Salary range is industry-competitive.
Working conditions may include uniforms and/or personal protection equipment (furnished), working in all weather conditions, working around chemical fumes, working around standard office conditions, working around chemicals, working around electrical and mechanical hazards, repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, use of manual dexterity (ex: using a mouse), climbing of stairs, climbing of ladders, lifting and moving 50 pounds.
Work shift is Monday - Friday, occasional/frequent nights/weekends required. This is a 24x7 facility; there may be occasional nights/weekends to maintain production availability.
