About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director-Executive Director, Program Management to play a pivotal role in the execution of programs from pre-IND planning through NDA approvals. The successful candidate will be a key leader in managing highly technical, cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of clinical development programs. This includes overseeing and managing program-related scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, and communications.

The role involves developing and leading program management activities, translating goals into detailed project tasks, and providing continuous support to teams in tracking and monitoring project progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle, high-level mastery in program management, and experience with cross-functional team roles in clinical-stage drug development.

Candidates for this position at the company should have a BS/BA degree in a relevant life science or related field, with advanced degrees or PMP certification preferred. A minimum of 7 years' of relevant hands‑on pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is required, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams. The role demands strong leadership skills, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Proficiency in program management methodologies, project management software, and Microsoft Office is essential. The candidate should be adept at problem-solving, influencing, and finding creative solutions to risks or issues that arise, and be comfortable working under ambiguity. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are also key attributes for this position.
