- Lead, coach, and mentor a nationwide team of Inventory Purchasing Analysts.
- Conduct monthly team meetings focused on KPI reviews, and training initiatives.
- Build development plans and maintain skill consistency across all locations.
- Serve as the primary performance manager for productivity and quality.
- Develop, refine, and enforce national SOPs for inventory management, replenishment, formulary maintenance, recall processing, and cycle counts.
- Standardize workflows across all sites to ensure consistency in process and documentation.
- Implement audit routines to validate compliance with DEA, state board, and internal requirements.
- Identify inefficiencies, root causes of recurring issues, and opportunities for automation or simplification.
- Lead cross-functional projects with fulfillment, purchasing, compliance, and IT.
- Own optimization initiatives such as improved forecasting, reduced shrink, reduced out-of-stocks, improved Kanban methodology, and formulary cleanup.
- Drive measurable improvements to cycle count accuracy and physical inventory readiness.
- Serve as escalation point for all inventory-related issues.
- Remove blockers for analysts quickly and decisively.
- Support the Senior Director of Purchasing during RFPs, vendor negotiations, and strategic projects by absorbing tactical follow-up and prep work.
- Coordinate cross-site resource sharing to support vacations, surges, or coverage gaps.
- Track and report key KPIs weekly and monthly, including out-of-stock rate, turns & days on hand, shrink, reconciliation accuracy, fulfillment delays, and cycle count accuracy.
- Hold analysts accountable for KPI performance and corrective actions.
- Partner closely with PICs, fulfillment leaders, dailies team leads, cycle fill team leads, compliance, finance, and IT.
- Ensure inventory processes align with corporate strategy, pharmacy operations, and patient care needs.
- Partner with Sr Director on oversight of bi-annual physical inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation.
- Ensure consistent methodology and post-inventory action plans across all locations.
- Travel to train and assist with physical inventories as needed.
- 3–5+ years of experience in pharmacy inventory, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Must be willing to travel 30-40% of the month.

- Strong knowledge of LTC pharmacy operations and regulations.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, change management, and coaching ability.
- High ownership mindset and comfort with remote leadership.
