Parking Services Supervisor
UT Parking and Transportation Services is responsible for the management of over 17,000 parking spaces on campus, including 13 parking garages and more than 50 surface parking lots. Operations include the distribution and regulation of daily, permitted, and event parking, maintenance of parking lots and garages, and assistance to those parked on or traveling through campus (e.g., jump‑starts and opening locked vehicles).

- Supervise assigned employees for daily or event parking operations and enforce parking policies and regulations.
- Determine personnel, schedules, equipment, materials, and supplies needed for parking operations and events; resolve issues or complaints from faculty, staff, students, and the public.
- Arrange for signage, barricades, maps, or passes needed for parking and supervise cash operations, providing reports to management.
- Respond to emergency situations and comply with departmental protocol.
- Oversee the setup, takedown, and inventory of equipment for parking arrangements; prepare operation reports and conduct ongoing training sessions for personnel.
- Schedule routine vehicle maintenance and other repairs as needed; drive UT vehicles.
- Perform related duties as assigned, including occasional weekend, holiday, or overtime hours, and work during home football games.
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in the operation of parking facilities or high‑volume parking systems. Cash handling experience and proficiency with tools applicable to the trade.
Preferred QualificationsMore than the minimum number of years of experience. Working knowledge of T2 FLEX software and Amano equipment. Familiarity with relevant university policies and procedures. Completion of the university’s Management Essentials Certificate.
Driver RequirementsThis position requires a class C driver’s license. Applicants must provide a current three‑year driving record and, if not a Texas resident, obtain a Texas driver’s license within 30 days of becoming a resident. Employees required to hold a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Salary Range$50,000 plus depending on qualifications, plus a 10% shift differential.
Work ShiftSunday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12:30 am.
