Management Analyst IV
Siter-Neubauer & Associates, a global MRINetwork recruitment firm, is seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst IV to join the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) at their Central Campus in Austin, TX. This role involves leading and managing projects primarily related to COVID-19 activities, enhancing services, and improving program operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Project Management (40%): Oversee project status, budget, and reporting. Lead meetings, drive project tasks to completion, and manage project team performance. Develop and maintain project documentation including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and communication plans.
- Project Coordination (20%): Manage multiple projects, communicate risks, changes, and progress to stakeholders. Handle project planning, execution, and closeout.
- Change & Risk Management (15%): Manage change, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication (15%): Ensure stakeholder understanding of project objectives, provide leadership, and coordinate regular meetings.
- Team Coaching (10%): Mentor and guide agile teams to achieve desired project outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in leading large projects, preferably with at least one year of experience.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Skilled in Excel and able to organize and present information effectively.
- Experience in planning and facilitating meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, business administration, public affairs, organizational leadership, communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- 6-8 years of experience in project management, quality management, public health, social services, or related fields.
Schedule:
Hybrid temporary staffing. In-office three days per week (flexible days) and telework two days per week. In-office presence preferred on specific days as determined by the supervisor. Services are required Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.
