Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Centralized Disclosure Specialist Team Leader for their Financial Services Secondary Marketing Department. The right candidate will manage teammates within the centralized department to issue initial and subsequent re-disclosures to consumers for multiple loan types in multiple states. Accuracy and timeliness are paramount due to the regulatory and business requirements related to disclosures.
- Pipeline Management
- The Team Leads are responsible for oversight of the CDD Dashboard and direct communication with the staff.
- Monitor the CDD Dashboard and related reports to ensure proper progress is made and disclosures are issued in a timely manner.
- Contribute to CDD Specialist Meetings
- Be available to staff for questions and assistance on files.
- Work with Branch Management, Underwriting Department, Product Development, Closing and other departments to coordinate solutions on files.
- Develop relationships with staff.
- Lead by example; foster a team atmosphere and attitude.
- Motivate the staff to manage individual workload proactively, not reactively.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises two or more employees.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university plus one year related experience; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
