Operations Manager
DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager in Austin, Texas to lead all aspects of Commercial Door Systems to ensure high satisfaction levels for customer construction projects. Bring experience in management and technical expertise to help us remain the trusted name in door solutions.
Position Overview- Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel, ensuring efficient, effective, safe, and profitable execution.
- Manage and improve operational processes with a focus on maximum profit and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure sold jobs are scheduled and performed on time to meet divisional sales and gross profit targets.
- Collaborate with budgets and sales goals to maintain alignment and track progress monthly.
- Deliver profit dollars and return on sales that meet or exceed the annual financial budget/forecast.
- Establish objectives and action plans consistent with corporate objectives.
- Hire, train, and develop new employees; improve performance through coaching, scorecard reviews, and performance reviews.
- Lead meetings, set performance expectations, and hold employees accountable.
- Communicate directly with customers to solicit feedback, solve problems, and identify new sales opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 2 years as Department Manager, Operations Manager, or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to mechanical/electrical systems and problem solving.
- Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel, hiring, training, developing, and conducting annual performance reviews.
