Role Description

The Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, responsible for leading daily operations of a residential community. This position oversees resident relations, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries, concerns, and service requests while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. The Community Manager coordinates leasing activities, monitors occupancy and retention, and collaborates with maintenance and service teams to uphold property standards.

The role includes managing budgets, tracking expenses, and supporting compliance with company policies and local regulations. The Community Manager also organizes community engagement initiatives, supports resident programs, and partners with leadership to continuously improve resident experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong resident and customer service skills, including relationship-building, conflict resolution, and communication.
  • Candidates should possess property and community management skills, such as leasing coordination, basic financial oversight, and familiarity with compliance in residential communities.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including time management, record-keeping, and effective use of property management software and office tools.
  • Candidates should possess leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to guide on-site staff, work cross-functionally, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Candidates should possess problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant experience in residential property management, affordable housing, or community services is beneficial.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, property management, social services, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area and occasionally work evenings or weekends for resident events or urgent community needs.
