Job Description

The Parking Spot is the leading near‑airport parking company at over 20 airports and is actively hiring for an Area Manager to join our team. The Area Manager is responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations of our locations within a given region.

Weekly

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, Days

• Oversee the physical condition and appearance for facilities and fleet for 2‑3 properties assigned.
• Supervise the activities of General Managers and support staff at the lots.
• Oversee employee performance to ensure prompt attendance and completion of duties.
• Interview, hire, and train employees.
• Conduct local audits and inspections.
• Ensure consistent delivery of The Parking Spot’s hospitality standards.
• Manage customer service issues that arise.
• Enforce company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Manage and maintain DOT compliance of shuttles, including certification, maintenance, and repairs.
• Account for overall profit/loss for managed properties.
• Monitor and control expenses at the properties.
• Prepare annual market budget.
• Direct relevant communication to Corporate personnel as appropriate.
• Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements.
• Adhere to and enforce a safe environment for employees and guests.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management.

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in a management position with direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Ability to prioritize work and follow directions promptly.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports.
• Valid driver’s license and CDL as required.
• Willingness to be physically fit and pass as a certified Interstate driver if required.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $90,000 per year

Minimum Education: High School/GED
