Senior Civil Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a growing regional office of a multi-disciplinary engineering, planning, and design firm. This is a leadership role with real impact - you will help grow the Austin practice, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in the firm's next chapter in the region. The Austin office is in an exciting growth phase, and this hire is central to that trajectory. You will serve as the senior technical and project leadership presence in the office, taking ownership of project delivery while helping develop the next generation of engineers. There is also an expectation that you will contribute to business development over time, leveraging local relationships and market knowledge to help grow the practice.

• Leading all phases of commercial land development projects from planning and design through construction and close‑out
• Serving as the primary project manager on a mix of commercial and retail projects, with exposure to other sectors
• Mentoring and training EITs and junior staff, building a high‑performing local team
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships
• Supporting business development efforts and helping build the firm’s presence in the Austin market
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and municipal agencies, with strong knowledge of Austin codes and zoning

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience with a strong focus on land development
• Demonstrated project management and team leadership experience
• Familiarity with Austin codes, zoning, and local market preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
