OverviewOur client is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead utility infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. This role supports a wide range of water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives, with responsibilities scaled based on experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering high‑quality infrastructure solutions that serve communities.
Senior-level candidates will take on broader leadership, mentoring, and strategic responsibilities.
- Manage and deliver utility infrastructure projects, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals.
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
- Ensure QA/QC compliance for all project deliverables and documentation.
- Track labor utilization, revenue forecasting, billing, and documentation.
- Serve as the firm's representative at client meetings, public hearings, and presentations.
- Conduct site visits and construction observations as needed (for more senior PMs).
- Lead multiple utility infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
- Mentor engineers and project managers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
- Oversee proposals, contracts, fee justifications, and budget forecasting.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proven track record managing drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Experience:
7+ years for Project Manager; 10+ years for Senior Project Manager. - Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Knowledge of utility design standards, regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
