Family Justice Center Director

TC-HHS is looking for a full-time Family Justice Center Director for our new Family Justice Center and to be part of a mission-driven team that shows up every day for our community. A Family Justice Center is a co-location of agencies who collaborate to provide services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. The Family Justice Center Director is an Executive Leadership position that oversees the planning, development, and implementation of the Family Justice Center, including finance, budgeting, human resources, purchasing, information systems, facilities, resources planning, strategic planning, safety management, and records management.

The Director will evaluate division operations in accordance with State, Federal, and Local Laws, policies, procedures and guidelines. Develop division strategic plans to accomplish goals and objectives and improve effectiveness and efficiency of services. Supervise work activities of subordinate professionals, paraprofessionals, and clerical staff. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directs and ensures conformity with State, Federal, and Local laws, policies and procedures.
  • Develops and directs core administrative functions and systems, including finance, budgeting, human resources, purchasing, information systems, facilities, resources planning, strategic planning, safety management and records management. Manages the day-to-day operations through subordinate managers and supervisors.
  • Initiates, develops, plans and oversee implementation of special programs. Evaluates effectiveness of programs and operations and develops new and modified initiatives to improve effectiveness. Directs the implementation and monitoring of new and existing programs.
  • Ensures MOUS are accurate, signed, and updated with partner agencies.
  • Oversees management and staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions and dismissals, and ensures activities are consistent with goals and objectives. Seeks and creates opportunities for improved performance, learning and development of staff. Identifies and addresses problems and/or resolves conflicts.
  • Provides oversight and guidance to management and staff and makes recommendations on complex issues. Provides high-level technical advice, policy interpretation and guidance for application of appropriate procedures to managers and other staff.
