We are excited to announce a career opportunity for which we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the Sr. Project Manager - Healthcare role in Austin, TX. As a Senior Project Management Professional, you’ll be responsible for the management of various subcontractors, process improvement activities, training and day-to-day leadership of all PMCM staff aligned to this client group.

Duties will include weekly and monthly reporting, establishment of PMCM best practices, schedule management, change management and executive reporting. The CM duties will also include overall project delivery (cost, schedule, budget, quality, and contract negotiation) on multiple project assignments and will manage project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. We’ll look to you to manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for a new healthcare campus.

You’ll manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications as well as change orders and coordinate with Control Manager for proper posting in the reporting program.

As the PM Professional, you’ll manage and resolve complex design and construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements; and review status and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting. Additionally, you’ll attend assigned meetings, conduct chartering engagements, integrate and communicate with all stakeholders, develop and hold weekly job progress meetings with staff and document performance as necessary.

Program and Project Leadership

  • Responsible for delivering the non-inpatient building portfolios of the DMC campus (Ambulatory, Support, Parking, Utilities) as an integrated, operationally ready component while ensuring he phasing requirements are fully coordinated with the CUP building.
  • Manage assigned project component(s) from planning and design through construction and occupancy.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact between the Owner, design team, construction team, consultants, and user stakeholders.
  • Lead the management and coordination of the Architect/Engineer (A/E) team throughout all design phases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and work plans for assigned project components, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
  • Coordinate design activities to achieve timely reviews, decisions, and approvals by institutional stakeholders.
  • Facilitate design review processes, including consolidation of stakeholder comments and resolution of design issues.
  • Review design documents for compliance with the approved program, project objectives, campus standards, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor design progress and identify potential scope, budget, schedule, quality, or operational concerns requiring corrective action.
  • Coordinate mock-ups, user-group reviews, and validation processes to support project decision-making and quality objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day communications and coordination among project participants to ensure timely resolution of issues and actions.
