Delivery Director

Overview:

Oversees a team that delivers contracted IT services to clients. Leads the development and implementation of delivery strategies of various IT solutions toclients. Accountable for ensuring quality, timing and financial delivery objectives are met by team. Identifies opportunities for account growth and innovation.

Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid client impact and facilitate continuous improvement. Builds and sustains effectivecommunications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the client experience. Develops and maintains strong relationships with client’s leadership team.

Duties:
• Provides direction and guidance for administration and results for multiple departments within a function of work area.
• Translates business plans into objectives and exercises latitude in managing operations. Accomplishes results through the efforts of subordinate managers / professional team members.
• Responsible for managing larger groups of team members, which may also include lower-level leaders.
• Responsible for large accounts with high level of complexity.
• Leads the defining and adherence to delivery management processes and policies.
• Responsible for delivering in a highly-matrixed global delivery model.
• Mentors and trains less experienced delivery management team members.
