Packaging Technician - Meanwhile Brewing

Overview

Meanwhile Brewing Co. is a community-driven brewery on 3.7 acres in southeast Austin. We produce a wide array of world-class beers, including year-round offerings such as Meanwhile Pilsner, Secret Beach IPA, and Tender Robot Hazy IPA. We are one of Austin’s largest independent breweries and distribute throughout Central Texas, from Georgetown to San Antonio.

Packaging Technician

• Washes kegs and fills them with beer.
• Assists with canning line operations; folds trays, packs cases, keeps workspace clean.
• Performs packaging quality checks.
• Handles basic packaging, equipment, and facility maintenance.
• Operates a forklift.
• Handles hazardous materials properly.
• Meticulously documents every aspect of the packaging process.
• Maintains strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Assists with other duties as needed.

• This is a full-time salaried position – 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• Handiness with machinery is helpful.
• This job is physical: lifting 55–165 lb kegs, twisting/turning, reaching over shoulders, climbing stairs, working in hot/cold/wet conditions, bending/stooping, and standing/walking.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Professional conduct when representing Meanwhile Brewing Co., in taprooms or events/competitions.
• Open to sharing ideas and suggestions with the team to help everyone be better brewers.
