CNC Machinist

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a CNC Machinist located in Austin, TX
.

1st Shift: 4X10 6:00am – 4:30pm Tuesday-Friday

• Setup and operate various conventional machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, vertical and horizontal saws to produce and detail a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances and hold to finishes specifications.
• Must be able to setup and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Mazak vertical mills with Mazatrol.
• Work with priority listings to complete fixtures/parts as required for production floor.
• Accurately read 3 dimensional drawings and blueprints and be able to setup manual machines to within tolerance specified to produce products/fixtures.
• Perform machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
• Check machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
• Make edits to CNC programming at machine controls if needed.
• Must understand GD&T.
• Must be able to use measurement equipment.
