Overview

Hiring for 2nd shift starting at $20.50/hr. 2nd shift receives an additional 10% shift differential = $22.55/hr lutron Ketra has immediate openings on 2nd shift for Manufacturing Assembly - Technical Assistants at our facility in Austin, TX. You will be a key part of the Operations team, building a career with a high‑tech company in a hands‑on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.

• Perform assembly, testing and verification of electronic assemblies in a technical, computer‑based environment and ensure quality of final product.
• Execute production schedules and highlight issues for quality and output improvement.
• Communicate status of operation and improvements in a timely manner to leaders.
• Work in a team environment to implement improvement ideas.
• Utilize the computer‑based system to enter inventory and production transactions.
• Utilize continuous improvements and assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to established policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexibility to work on 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm) and overtime as needed.
• Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• Ability to move to surrounding workstations.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Ability for continuous learning.
• Knowledge of semiconductors or Surface‑mount technology (SMT) and clean room procedures is a plus.
