Technical Buyer

Manager, Purchasing

• Strategic Procurement
• Assist Sourcing Team in developing and executing purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and services used in reconstructive hip, knee, and shoulder implants
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory
• Supplier Management
• Identify suppliers aligned with Enovis’ innovation and compliance standards
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost‑efficiency
• Compliance & Quality
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with FDA regulations and internal/external regulatory requirements
• Monitor supplier performance and assist Quality in conducting audits as needed
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Partner with operations, R&D, Sourcing, and finance teams to support product development and launch timelines
• Reporting & Analytics
• Develop and track KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics
• Use ERP systems to maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of purchasing experience in medical device manufacturing or high‑tech industries
• Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, and healthcare compliance standards
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
