Our client, a leader in innovative robotics technology, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler – Robotics to join their dynamic team. As a Mechanical Assembler – Robotics, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Robotics Production Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler – Robotics
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday
What's the Job?
- Assemble robot parts and mechanical components using hand tools and torque wrenches
- Work with small parts and detailed components, following step-by-step instructions
- Install motors, actuators, gearboxes, brackets, fasteners, bearings, and sensor mounts
- Follow assembly drawings and diagrams to build sub‑assemblies and complete robot systems
- Perform fit checks, alignment, and torqueing to ensure proper installation of parts
What's Needed?
- Proficiency with various hand tools (torque wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers) and soldering irons (preferred not required)
- Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or hands-on build work
- Comfortable working with small components and precision tools
- Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and diagrams
- Good attention to detail and steady hands
- High School Diploma
