Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician / Assembler
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $25.00–$26.00 per hour + Overtime
Schedule: 6:00am–3:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm (Monday–Friday)
Contract Length: 18 Months

About the OpportunityWe are hiring hands‑on Electro-Mechanical Technicians/Assemblers who enjoy building, testing, troubleshooting, and working in a busy production environment. This is a great job for someone who likes working with tools, solving problems, and earning overtime.

What You’ll Do- Perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly of sub‑modules and full systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measurement equipment.
- Follow schematics, diagrams, work instructions, layouts, and verbal guidance to complete assemblies.
- Conduct routine testing, functional checks, adjustments, and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
- Identify issues, perform rework, and verify corrective actions.
- Document all work performed, including test data, build notes, and quality notifications.
- Support new builds, upgrades, and installation activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all standard procedures.
- Experience in electro‑mechanical assembly, mechanical assembly, system build, wiring, or equipment integration.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working with pneumatic, vacuum, or electrical systems (training provided for the right candidates).
- Able to stand, lift, and work with hands throughout the shift.
- Dependable, team‑oriented, and safety‑minded.
- Open to overtime (10 hours per week is likely).
