Materials Coordinator - Austin/Weekend Moonlight Shift

Shift Days/

Hours:

Saturday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts, 6PM-6AM.

• Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
• As needed, handle receiving exceptions.
• Utilize handheld RF tools to receive merchandise/products into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct stock checks, part number verification, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
• Consolidate loads as required; pack, re-pack, and wrap product for shipping.
• Label parts during put away, picking, or shipping processes.
• Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
• Ensure orders and shipping materials include proper delivery documents (e.g., revised BOL, packing slip, manual tag).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform organization tasks as needed.
• Cross-train to learn other warehouse functions.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers or the assembly line.
• Maintain accuracy and provide required reports, measurements, and logs aligned with KPI guidelines.
• Demonstrate expertise in using a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping/receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry, and reporting.

• Experience in the automotive industry in some capacity (e.g., automotive parts specialist, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work, military, large automobile manufacturers).
• Experience in roles such as parts advisor, parts specialist, inventory technician, materials handler, or parts coordinator.
• Experience with a DMS (Dealer Management System) such as CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed; SAP experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience and comfort working around technicians.
• Experience and ability working with pallet jacks; forklifts are not required.
• Basic supply chain skills and experience creating spreadsheets and tables.
• Willingness to help when downtime occurs (e.g., organizing the shop, stocking, disposing of tires, handling deliveries).
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.

Estimated Min Rate: $20.00

Estimated Max Rate: $25.00+ depends on work experience
