Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated QC Technician to join their team. As a QC Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the inspection and testing of electronic and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QC Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

What's the Job?
  • Conduct detailed inspections of electronic and mechanical parts at various stages of production and assembly.

  • Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess product quality and performance.

  • Verify that all products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

  • Document inspection results, test outcomes, and quality issues accurately and thoroughly.

  • Collaborate with engineering, materials, and production teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.

What's Needed?
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or inspection within electronics and mechanical assembly manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and quality inspection criteria.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Effective organizational and communication skills.

  • High School Diploma required;
    Associates Engineering degree preferred.
