Our client, a leader in high-tech manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wire Harness Manufacturing Manager to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the manufacturing operations, you will support the production of complex electrical wiring systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Job Title: Wire Harness Manufacturing Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $36-$40
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
What's the Job?Oversee daily production operations on the assembly floor, managing workflows from wire cutting and stripping to crimping, soldering, and final loom assembly.
Interpret complex electrical schematics and harness drawings to guide production teams and troubleshoot design-to-build issues effectively.
Ensure all products meet IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards through rigorous testing protocols, including continuity, insulation resistance, and pull-force testing.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material availability, maintaining stock levels of connectors, terminals, and specialized conduits to meet fluctuating production demands.
High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-tech hardware manufacturing, such as Robotics, Aerospace, or Electric Vehicles, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
IPC-A-620 certification strongly preferred;
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.Strong technical skills in interpreting electrical schematics and harness drawings.
