We are a leading provider of fuel‑dispensing equipment and advanced solutions, headquartered in Austin, TX. DFS includes product brands such as Wayne Fueling Systems, OPW Fuel Management Systems, Clear View, Tokheim, Pro Gauge, Fairbanks, LIQAL, AvaLAN, and Bulloch Technologies.
Job Duties- Read and follow Job Ticket instructions
- Prepare artwork and create print‑ready files for digital printing
- Troubleshoot files for potential issues
- Perform basic preventive maintenance (TPM) in the machine
- Promote Zone Safety Hazard avoidance according to training provided, PPE usage
- Execute and engage other peers in housekeeping responsibilities (6S experience) that are consistent with manufacturing initiatives
- Drive Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives as they relate to the tasks in their respective zone
- Have a machine ownership mindset to ensure productivity is aligned with expectations; communicate with maintenance team and direct operations manager if issues arise
- Demonstrate ability to grasp and execute process‑related activities
- Communicate any problems discovered in preflight process
- Maintain high level of quality, accuracy and productivity
- Impose files for digital presses
- Send imposed files to printer and check for accuracy
- Fully engage in the Employee Suggestions Program, driving suggestions in the zone and encouraging other team members to provide suggestions
- Fully understand and engage in the Zone Metrics Indicators to drive continuous improvement / problem solving; actively identify detractors and record them on the Tier Production Boards
- High School or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in Prepress operations
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator and Acrobat)
- Knowledge of and ability to check file specifications (color separations, fonts, links, document size, etc.)
- Familiarity with prepress workflow
- Ability to understand and read working instructions
- Knowledge of printing functions helpful
- Ability to read graphics specifications
- Have experience using Lean Tools (A3, 5
Why, Fishbone diagram, etc.) is preferable - Have experience in managing the 7 Elements of Waste is preferable
- Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 10 hours per day, and lift up to 40 lbs unassisted as required
- Advanced PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment
- High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail

Day shifts - Monday - Thursday. Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
