Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.

Busch Vacuum LLC has an immediate direct-hire opportunity open for an Inventory Control Specialist at our service center in Austin, Texas. The work hours are 6am to 3pm CST.

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate outbound advice and picking lists for sales, distribution, service, and manual transfers in a sequence that prioritizes allocations.
  • Review, manage, and sort orders and picking lists to distribute to warehouse personnel by type of shipment.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to identify orders that need corrections or clarification.
  • Generate and process cycle counts; research and resolve discrepancies, generating cycle count recounts as necessary.
  • Investigate errors/issues for root cause determination.
  • Synchronize problem solving and maintain effective communication between departments.
  • Warehouse responsibilities include coordination, shipping and receiving, material handling and local pick‑up delivery as needed.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste.
  • Temporarily assume the responsibilities of the Production Control Clerk as needed.
Required Experience
  • 2+ years of inventory control or related experience.
  • Computer skills:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • ERP/WMS experience required; SAP highly preferred.
  • Forklift experience or ability to get certified.
  • Experience driving a box truck, or willingness to learn.
  • High School Graduate or GED required;
    Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • High degree of integrity, accountability, and dependability.
  • Detail oriented with good decision‑making ability.
  • Good initiative and ability to coordinate activities across departments.
Job Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to pass a 9‑panel drug screen, 7‑year criminal history check.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness and ability to utilize all required PPE.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and wear required PPE.
