Summary
Responsible for proper placement of components used in producing food products in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Understands and demonstrates proper handling of components in accordance with USDA, HACCP and plant recipe guidelines. Required to understand and demonstrate the assembly/handling of ingredients in relation to food safety and quality. Must ensure the GMPs and Safety regulations are followed at all times.
Report any deviations to product quality, machinery, or standards to appropriate level of supervision. Understands and demonstrates changeover and sanitation requirements.
- Inspects components during manufacturing process to ensure highest quality level
- Understands GMPs and safety requirements
- Understands proper placement of components to ensure highest quality product produced
- Understands and demonstrates the lugger-usage system
- Understands and demonstrates the use of gray and yellow rubber cans for disposal
- Flexible to work overtime; work on different production lines or positions as assigned
- Must be able to communicate
- Stand, reach, and bend; lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, must be able to travel throughout area
- Works well with others & ability to meet required work/quality demands of production line;
Reports to workstation with appropriate PPE on time - Work with minimum supervision
- Evaluation of performance is to take place within first 120 hours of beginning job
While performing the duties of this job, the team member works around moving machinery. The team member is exposed to hot/cold/frozen product, loud noise, and wet floors, which may become slippery. Team member must be aware of their surroundings. Team member at no times can place any part of body into moving machinery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Produce desired product as Production Line demands
- Ensure that product conforms to recipe specification and placement
- Ensure scoops, cups and other utensils are properly handled and returned after use
- Understands lock out tag out procedures
- Able to follow GMPs and adhere to USDA guidelines for food/sanitary guidelines
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Production Team Leader
- Must maintain a clean environment around work area at all times. Ensure no items are stored on electrical panels or boxes
- Ensure proper placement of smock: proper placement when disposing of gloves, hairnets and other supplies/materials in appropriate designated bins/containers
- Other duties may be assigned as needed

Compensation & BenefitsThe starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $14.05/hr. + $1.50 cent shift differential.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
