Position SummaryBOXX Technologies Production department is looking for a Production Technician located in Austin, TX. The role involves preliminary testing, repair, software loading, BIOS flashing, running final tests and ensuring system integrity. The candidate will apply diagnoses and troubleshoot issues during production.

- Place assembled systems into run-in and start the run-in testing process
- Perform functional testing using applications like Pass Mark, Real Bench, Prime
95, OCCT, and other testing software - Load and configure operating systems
- Load drivers and software
- Flash BIOS and firmware on motherboards
- Troubleshoot any run-in failures, repair systems and retest them
- Maintain inventory integrity when replacing defective components by following process
- Troubleshoot and repair systems from production test failures
- Maintain correct firmware levels
- Assemble components such as CPU, GPU, memory, and heat sinks on motherboards for orders or re-works
- Generate quality documentation as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Technical/Professional experience
- Experience in component-level repair of computers
- Experience loading and configuring operating systems
- A+ certification required
- Linux certification desired
- Linux knowledge required
Strong working knowledge of deployment technologies
- Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
- Ability to write emails to managers and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Lifting, pulling, pushing up to or over 25 pounds or moving, assisting and/or lifting items or awkward weights
