As a Select Solder Process Technician, you will operate and maintain state-of-the-art soldering equipment, ensuring the highest standards in product quality and process improvement. Responsibilities
- Operate select soldering and wave soldering machines to build products from written instructions.
- Perform manual soldering and detailed inspection of components.
- Execute product rework and maintenance on select soldering equipment.
- Provide actionable feedback on process performance to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with peers and engineers to drive continuous process improvements.
- Demonstrate initiative by prioritizing and adapting tasks to meet business-critical needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating select soldering or wave soldering machines.
- Skilled in manual soldering and product inspection.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- J-STD or IPC certification.
- Rework certification.
- Associate degree.
