Inventory Coordinator
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This role manages the receipt of incoming materials, shipment of finished goods, and movement of inventory within the warehouse and production areas.
The Inventory Coordinator may perform a variety of additional tasks as needed to support operations as required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound materials and verify part numbers, quantities, and condition against purchase orders.
- Coordinate and support outbound shipments of finished goods, including packaging and documentation.
- Accurately perform inventory transactions in the system (receipts, issues, transfers, moves)
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation activities
- Move materials physically between receiving, warehouse, and production areas as required
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in designated locations
- Unpack and prepare incoming materials for production use
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as required
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- High school Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment
