** Purpose
* * The Academic & Workforce Program Manager will oversee TIE’s academic and workforce initiatives and, if awarded, will serve as the operational lead for the National Network for Microelectronics Education Regional Node, supporting multi-state coordination, subawards, and reporting. The role also contributes to business development, budget forecasting, and revenue strategies essential to TIE’s long-term workforce sustainability.##
** Responsibilities
* * 1. Regional Node or Program Operations & Project Management – Lead day-to-day coordination and execution of workforce initiatives, including milestone management, implementation planning, and partner support. If awarded by National Network for Microelectronics Education, manage all operational functions for the Regional Node across multiple states.
2. Multi-State Coordination & Governance Support – Coordinate communication, meetings, and decision-making processes with State Leads, Governance Board members, and Workstream Leads. In an NNME-awarded scenario, oversee full multi-state governance implementation.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Convening – Facilitate employer convenings, faculty and partner workshops, Communities of Practice, and advisory groups to strengthen education–industry alignment and ensure broad partner engagement.
