Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.
Job Summary
We are seeking Defect Classification Technician to join our team. You will be a member of the Defect Review Center team. This is an office-based role involving the systematic classification of defects. This requires the ability to discern differences between various defects and accurately assign the correct designation to each.
Job Description
- Defect Classification:
Serve as the initial point of quality control to mitigate defects within the semiconductor manufacturing facility. The primary duty is to accurately identify and classify defects by referencing the established Defect Catalog. - Adaptability:
Adjust to evolving business requirements, conditions, and work responsibilities. - Teamwork:
Cultivate cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and engage in transparent information sharing. - Customer Focus:
Meet and exceed expectations for both internal and external customers. - Decision Making:

- Typically requires 0-4 years of related experience.
- Foundational understanding of computer usage, relevant tools, processes, and systems.
- Ability to adhere to detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - Thurs, Fri, Sat (Wed)
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
