The Manufacturing In-Process Tester is responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely and on time. Utilizes manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture medical devices in accordance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), company policy and safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Perform verification activities per written procedures and document the results throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical medical device components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies products.
  • Cleans, inspects, and maintains the quality of the products.
  • Keeps work areas clean and organized and ready for all schedules production operations.
  • Perform product verification activities, such as: inspection, testing, and documentation review, of components and devices, per written procedures and document the results.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods / equipment and able to read drawings / specifications.
  • Perform manufacturing and assembly (soldering, bench assembly, bonding, etc.) activities to support production plan.
  • Utilize various equipment to verify products against required specifications.
  • Perform independent review of documentation and verification results per written procedures.
  • Support investigational activities of product returns or test results.
  • Perform activities expeditiously to support production goals and objectives.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
  • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
  • May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
  • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

    High School Degree or equivalent. 2 - 3 years of related experience.
