Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
Position: Test and Repairs Associate
Hours: Full-time, non-exempt position; 40-hour standard work week on-site; overtime occasionally required

Position Summary:
The Test and Repairs Associate performs testing, troubleshooting, repair, and evaluation of Setcom electronic and electro-mechanical products. Using tools such as DVMs, oscilloscopes, and AC RMS meters, the associate supports production and customer repair activities while maintaining accurate documentation and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and component-level troubleshooting
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Ability to solder and use small hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 1–2 years of electronics or technician experience preferred
- Associate degree in electronics or related technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Job Description:
- Perform functional testing of production units, subassemblies, and customer repair products
- Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical products using schematics, test equipment, and work instructions
- Inspect products for final inspection, cosmetic, assembly, and workmanship defects
- Document repair findings and testing results accurately in ERP/CRM systems
- Process incoming customer repairs and review warranty status
- Perform hand soldering and basic rework as required
- Build and maintain test cables and test fixtures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support additional production, testing, or engineering activities as assigned
- Perform final quality inspection for finished goods and parts
