Material Handler II; Onsite - Austin, TX

Job Description

Highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with automated retrieval systems.

• Receive, process, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment within Oracle ERP.
• Transport materials and supplies to designated areas using pallet jacks and other material‑handling equipment.
• Ensure accurate labeling, tracking, and documentation of all materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damage.
• Provide material support to production teams by delivering materials and supplies to production lines.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols; report any safety incidents or near‑misses.
• Ensure all materials and supplies are handled and stored in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality, regarding material handling and inventory issues.

• Environment:
  Semiconductor manufacturing facility with cleanroom and non‑cleanroom areas.
• Temperature:
  Temperature‑controlled environment with potential for varying temperatures.
• Noise:
  Moderate noise levels.
• Physical demands:
  Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.

High School/GED

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes.
• Sense of urgency.
• Customer focused.
• Experience with Oracle ERP.
• Experience with cycle counts.
• Experience with X‑ray for small sensitive components.
• ESD awareness.
• MSD experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Full‑time Salary Range: $41,844 - $66,952.

Salary is based on market pay structures and adjusted for business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
