As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will be the backbone of our production floor, playing a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a dynamic, hands‑on position ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the trade in a high‑tech CNC environment. You will be responsible for supporting our Manufacturing Specialists (Machine Operator & Quality Control team members) by maintaining equipment, performing post‑processing on precision metal parts, and upholding the organization of our state‑of‑the‑art facility.

• Machine & Equipment Support:
  Perform routine CNC machine upkeep, including topping off fluids, monitoring and adjusting coolant concentrations, and managing scrap material disposal.
• Quality Control & Finishing:
  Execute detailed post‑machining processes, including hand‑finishing, deburring, and parts washing to meet precise quality standards.
• Logistics & Material Handling:
  Prepare finished components for shipment by carefully sorting, packaging, and labeling products according to work instructions.
• Shop Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the machine shop, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Process Improvement:
  Adhere to all work instructions while actively looking for opportunities to enhance efficiency and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

  Proactively identify and report potential machine issues, such as leaks, and assist maintenance personnel with repairs as needed.

• A positive, team‑oriented attitude and a strong, reliable work ethic.
• Ability to consistently lift and move objects up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Familiarity with hand finishing tools (e.g., grinders, sanders, deburring tools).
• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.

This position operates on a 9/80 schedule, which offers an excellent work‑life balance.

Available

Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

The 9/80 Advantage:
Over a two‑week period, you will work eight 9‑hour days and one 8‑hour day. This schedule provides you with a bonus off day every other week! Specific days off are coordinated with your direct supervisor. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
