We are looking to add a CNC Machinist II to our team on 3rd shift. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about developing leading‑edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Machining high quality parts.
- Reading and following technical drawings and 3D cad models.
- Inspecting and documenting one’s own manufactured parts.
- Checking machinery is in good working order before shift.
- Performing machine set ups for part manufacturing.
- Performing edits as needed.
- Performing all necessary machine maintenance for operation and use equipment properly.
- Abiding by all safety standards.
- Reporting any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
- Keeping all work areas clean and organized.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 year experience as a CNC Machinist, working with high‑precision parts and assemblies.
- High School diploma or GED required, Associates Degree in Machining Technology strongly preferred.
- Able to perform physically demanding work—standing, bending, lifting 25 lbs. regularly.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good math skills.
- Solid computer skills.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Haas and/ or Mazak experience.
