Responsibilities
  • The Assembly Worker is responsible for supporting automated production processes within a robotic cell environment in an automotive manufacturing facility, operating, monitoring and assisting robotic equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.
  • Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Governance initiatives, ensuring compliance and meeting objectives related to legal and business environment changes.
  • Implement activities to improve business operations using steady compliance strategy.
  • Ensure personal safety by complying with all safety procedures.
  • Model appropriate associate conduct and work ethic.
  • Load and unload parts into robotic cells and assembly fixtures.
  • Monitor robotic operations to ensure proper function and cycle completion.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors.
  • Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Perform minor manual assembly tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Produce quality parts in sufficient quantities to supply customer requirements.
  • Follow Team Leader directives, company procedures, manufacturing processes and all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
  • Record production data and quality checks accurately.
  • Assist with changeovers, setups, and tooling adjustments when required.
  • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes.
  • Support ISO-9001 / ISO-14001 requirements.
  • Other duties assigned by Assembly Team Leader, Coordinator, and Managers.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read work instructions.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience (automotive preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Positive background results required.
  • Ability to work in an international, culturally diverse work environment.
  • Familiarity with robotic systems or automated equipment beneficial.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Basic Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, automated production environment.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions.
Demonstrate basic skills for manufacturing competence
  • Matching:
    Compare part with quality check point, Kanban tag, and barcode.
  • Coding:
    Accurately complete production form by documenting part disposition in each production code.
  • Measurement:
    Compare part accuracy by measuring part on check fixture, verifying part characteristics.
  • Inspection:
    Compare quality of part to visual controls, Master sample and Check fixture.
  • Math:
    Ensure parts are produced in schedule quantity by counting and tracking number of parts produced. Use production quantity and amount of time to produce parts to calculate production efficiency.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Stand for long periods (8–12 hours).
  • Lift up to 25–50 lbs. regularly.
  • Perform repetitive movements (bending, reaching, lifting).
  • Automotive production facility with robotic automation.
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial conditions.
  • PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toe boots).
