Buyer (ONSITE)

Needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing's client working in Austin, TX.

• Pay Rate: $25–30/hr
• Location: ONSITE

• Create and manage POs (purchase orders) using MRP software; track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
• Communicate with vendors regarding open orders, scheduling, and RFQs.
• Communicate with the appropriate departments/purchase requesters about order statuses, including any order delays or issues.
• Negotiate piercing, lead times, and terms with vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Buy items from our online vendors as required by our MRP software.
• Make weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on PO’s.
• Work with the accounting department to research inaccuracies in receipts compared to invoices.
• Obtain RMAs from supplies and process DMR parts through the system.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands.
• Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or Google Docs/Sheets.
• Detail-oriented.
• Technical parts knowledge – electronic components is preferred.
