Material Handler II

Loads trucks according to load charts and processes receiving paperwork.

• Load trucks accurately within prescribed timelines as per load charts.
• Read load charts and bill of lading.
• Complete paperwork promptly and accurately, including Bill of Lading (BOL), Sales Orders and Pre‑load Inspection forms.
• Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers, using a forklift when required.
• Operate a stand‑up forklift safely; complete forklift inspections and check‑sheets before use.
• Perform scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle counts.
• Follow all company rules, including SOPs, GMPs, Safety, PPE and all rules prescribed by the USDA and FDA.
• Perform other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by the supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills; able to read, write, and speak English.
• Minimum of 6 months material handling experience in a warehouse environment; previous inventory control experience desirable (SAP, etc).
• Must be able to drive a stand‑up forklift and be certified as a forklift driver.
• Bilingual a plus.

• Work in a freezer environment for long periods of time.
• Travel throughout production areas and stand for long periods.
• Push, pull, and lift heavy loads up to 75 lbs.
• Work flexible hours based upon operational needs.

1. Safety Rules and GMPs in area
2. Product Quality Standards
3. Production Personal Protective Equipment.

The starting rate for this full‑time, hourly position is $18.55 per hour. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
