Material Handler
Job Summary
Material Coordinator – responsible for locating, auditing, and transferring kits or materials to support manufacturing and cleanroom environments. Work may include operating powered industrial vehicles, visiting vendor sites, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Locates, audits and transfers kits or materials as required.
- Perform satellite receiving functions.
- Pick up or drop off materials at vendor sites (requiring the use of a van or truck).
- Complete cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory; identify and process nonconforming material.
- Prevent accumulation of excess or exceptional material under management direction.
- Move stock as required; replenish empty line‑side bins in a manufacturing environment.
- Receive parts, update inventory records, and perform transactions in Oracle or other inventory systems.
- Verify vendor delivery before accepting parts and/or inventory.
- Monitor, update and maintain shortage reports and review work orders.
- Under supervisor direction, purge stock of excess and obsolete material; rework, transfer or scrap items as needed.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, van, truck or overhead crane.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols; follow documented business processes.
- Train other Material Coordinators as required.
- Regulate and prepare material for delivery to the cleanroom environment.
Physically demanding; standing, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting. Ability to distinguish colors, work in noisy environments, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery including forklifts. May require use of personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields when working in a cleanroom.

Salary range: $18.00 - $24.80 per hour, location-based. Compensation may include bonus and stock award program if applicable.
