first two weeks of training likely on day shift, then transitioning to 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM

** Pay Rate:**  $19.50 per hour

** Position Overview*
* This role is ideal for someone who enjoys steady, hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy and quality. The position involves sitting for most of an 8?hour shift while performing detailed, repetitive hand movements. Strong manual dexterity and consistent hand-eye coordination are essential, as the work includes fine masking/demasking tasks and inspection under magnification.

Candidates who appreciate routine, focused tasks-and who prefer a consistent seated work environment-tend to do well in this position. Those who are used to fast-paced or highly active roles may find this environment less suitable.

Experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) is strongly preferred, as it supports quicker learning and smoother performance in the early stages.

** General Purpose of the Job*
* During the first 6-12 months, employees complete a certification program and learn core masking and demasking processes for customer products being parylene coated. Additional responsibilities may include cleaning, surface preparation, inspection, packaging, shipping, receiving, fixture refurbishing, and other process-related duties.

** Essential Responsibilities*
* + Follow all processes, work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs), and verbal/written directions.

+ Perform basic masking, demasking, and inspection tasks using small hand tools, microscopes, and other support equipment.

+ Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Disassemble, clean, refurbish, or reassemble coating fixtures as needed.

+ Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements when appropriate.

+ Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

** Additional Responsibilities*
* + Operate precision measuring instruments and record results when required.

+ Work in a clean-room environment, following clean?room protocols, PPE requirements, and hygiene standards.

+ Maintain a neat, orderly work area.

+ Follow all plant and corporate safety guidelines.

+ Handle, label, package, ship, or dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations (when applicable).

+ Perform other duties as needed based on business demands.

** Education & Experience*
* + High school diploma or GED required (SCS Reading Comprehension assessment may be accepted in place of GED).

+ PCB experience preferred but not required.

** Basic Skills*
* + Ability to clearly speak, read, and write English.

+ Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

+ Ability to communicate basic information such as production results or quality concerns.

+ Ability to perform basic math.

+ Able to work in a seated position for extended periods.

+ Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision tasks.

+ Ability to distinguish the colors red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet.

+ Able to meet near?vision requirements:

+ Read Jaeger No. 1 at 14", No. 2 at 20", or No. 3 at 24" (with or without corrective lenses).
