Mechanical Install Engineer - EUV

As a Mechanical Install Engineer, you will calibrate and qualify the ASML system on site following a predefined test sequence, work with co‑workers and customers to isolate and solve problems, and provide expertise to less experienced ASML or local personnel. You will also perform administrative and coordination duties such as pass‑downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.

• Assemble and qualify the machine on site according to procedure and a pre‑defined sequence.
• Install, de‑install, transport, and assemble high‑tech lithography machines into the semiconductor fab.
• Analyze applicability, accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Recommend design changes or substitution of materials when appropriate.
• Evaluate and diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform upgrades.
• Work with co‑workers and customers to isolate and solve problems.
• Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner.
• Perform administrative and coordination duties, including pass‑downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.
• Provide support and assistance to less experienced ASML or local personnel as necessary.
• Perform complex adjustments and troubleshoot with limited support.
• Prepare written technical reports.

Education and Experience

• Preference for BS degree in an engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years hands‑on experience in a high‑tech production or customer‑service environment (e.g., electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace or automotive).
• Proven affinity for assembling and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
