Austin, Texas Job  Responsible for day‑to‑day card, printers and/or reader programming, light maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as acting as the main support from the Production Leader and/or Production Supervisor. The Machine Operator III is expected to act as Production Lead.

• Acting as the point of contact in between production and support areas to resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi‑automatic machines.
• Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
• Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi‑automatic machines.
• Verifying BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings.
• Conducting manual production operations as required.
• Proactively logging and escalating potential issues to minimize safety quality delivery issues and/or operational inefficiencies.
• Ensuring all Machine Operators have the right material and paperwork for them to perform their job correctly.
• Ensuring Order Management process is executed correctly to achieve the daily delivery/efficiency.
• Complying with SOPs and work instruction related to job function.
• Being held accountable to performance standard to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performing daily 5s and PM of equipment and surrounding areas as required.
• Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.
• Participating in root cause, corrective/preventive action activities as required.
• Understanding workload for the day and defining the shift hours based on demand.

• Effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
• Must possess the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
• Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
• Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.
• Accepts and embrace constant change as a necessary factor to success.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Familiarity within MS Office applications.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
• Familiar and able to navigate in Excel.
