Bulk Chemical Technician

ABM Industries is seeking a Bulk Chemical Technician to safely handle, store, and transfer industrial chemicals in support of facility operations. In this role you will receive, label, and track bulk chemical deliveries, operate pumps and transfer systems, and monitor tanks and lines for proper levels and leaks. You will follow strict safety, PPE, and environmental procedures, respond to minor spills, and coordinate disposal of waste.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store bulk chemical deliveries safely
• Operate pumps, hoses, and transfer systems for chemical distribution
• Monitor tanks, lines, and storage areas for levels, leaks, and alarms
• Follow strict safety, PPE, and environmental procedures and regulations
• Respond to minor spills and support cleanup and containment activities
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, inventory, and transfers
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on chemical handling equipment
• Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and disposal
• Communicate with supervisors and facility teams on supply needs and issues
• Support general facility cleanliness and safe work practices
