About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly of high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves following detailed work instructions, using power tools, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the growth of our manufacturing team.
What you’ll do when you get here:- Assemble products by following detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, and engineering documentation
- Use power tools to assemble components, hardware, fasteners, and subassemblies with a high level of quality and precision
- Verify completed assemblies meet quality standards and identify any issues or discrepancies during the build process
- Support prototype and low-volume manufacturing efforts by assembling a variety of products and adapting to changing production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established manufacturing and safety procedures
- Help establish manufacturing best practices and, as the team grows, assist with training and mentoring new Manufacturing Technicians.
- Experience using power tools and common shop equipment in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical hardware, including bolts, screws, fasteners, washers, and basic assembly techniques
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standardized assembly procedures with consistency
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong work ethic with a reliable, team-first attitude
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
- Travel will be required up to 10-15% of the time based on business and project needs
- Travel may be required based on business and project needs
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, or engineering documentation
- Experience working in a prototype, R&D, or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with quality inspection practices and identifying assembly defects
This is an Austin, TX-based position. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and either reside in the Austin area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
