Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 4:30PM to 3 AM -- 4/10 work week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

- Knowledge of quality standards, inspection protocols, and defect criteria tomaintainproduct compliance with specifications
- Teamwork – collaborate with team to improve processes and resolve assembly issues
- Soldering Techniques – SMTandthrough hole soldering
- Continuous Learning –participate in training sessions andidentifyopportunities for improvement
- Ability to operate AOIand X-Ray machines to inspect circuit boardsorsurface mount devices,capturing and analyzing images to detect defects such as shorts,opensor misalignments
- Capability to perform manual rework including cleaning shorts and correcting defects
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of work experience
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings
- Ability to become solder certified
- Effective communication and team work
- Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team
- A passion for learning/knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in electronic assembly
- Active IPC-A-610and J-STD-001
Certifications - Solder Reflow experience
- Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952
- You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 4:30PM to 3 AM -- 4/10 work week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.
