Participate in the planning, fielding, development, support and maintenance of sonar systems to include the development, documentation and execution of in-lab and at-sea testing procedures.

• Work as a member of a development team and oversee the planning, execution and support for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) mobility systems and associated high resolution sonar systems. 35%
• Testing and troubleshooting of NSW HF SONAR electromechanical assemblies, system software, and system acoustic functions. 25%
• Coordinate with company engineers to develop, document and execute in-lab and at-sea testing procedures, update engineering drawings when needed, and help oversee the assembly of deliverables. 40%
• Other related functions as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in scientific, engineering, or technical field.
• Six or more years of experience in the development and or assembly of electronic systems, understanding of hyperbaric vessels, and operations for testing.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

The position will require attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and excellent judgment. Ability to work independently and with sensitive and confidential information, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member without daily supervision, and effectively communicate with all groups of stakeholders..

Ability to work under pressure and accept supervision. Regular and punctual attendance.

US Citizen. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.

• Advanced degree degree in scientific, engineering, or technical field
• Twelve or more years of experience in the development and operations of Sonar Systems. Demonstrated ability to support and work with Navy sailors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Equipment:
  Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Manual/Battery Operated Hand Tools, 3D Printing, CNC
• Software:
  Word, Excel, Power Point, Solid Works, Orcad, Acrobat, PuTTY or Equivalent
• OS:
  Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Windows 11, Moba Xterm)
