Campus Activation Lead – Student Marketing | UT Austin

Overview

Markit Advertising is a campus marketing agency that connects brands with college students through peer-to-peer promotion. We partner with tech startups and apps to drive real user acquisition on university campuses.

We're hiring a Campus Activation Lead to run marketing campaigns at UT Austin. You'll lead a team of student ambassadors, execute tabling events, and drive signups for our clients' apps and products. This is a leadership role with real responsibility — you'll recruit your own team, manage operations, and directly impact campaign success.

• Recruit, hire, and manage a team of 10 student brand ambassadors
• Plan and execute weekly tabling events in high-traffic campus locations
• Approach students, pitch products, and guide them through signups
• Track signups accurately and submit daily reports with photos and metrics
• Coordinate with UT Austin administration for permits and reservations
• Attend client calls and translate messaging into student-friendly talking points

Required:

• Currently enrolled UT Austin student
• Strong communication skills and outgoing personality
• Reliable and able to work independently

Preferred:

• Experience in marketing, sales, promotions, or brand ambassador roles
• Connected to student organizations or Greek life

• $500/month base stipend
• Performance bonuses — up to $75 extra per event
• Multi-client bonus — $150/month for managing 2+ campaigns
• Referral bonus — $100 for each Campus Lead you recruit
