Spiceworks Ziff Davis is looking for a seasoned, visionary marketing executive to lead and elevate our global B2B marketing organization. This role will shape the full-funnel, multi-brand marketing strategy and execution for our growth agenda and market leadership in the tech-marketing solutions space. The VP Marketing will partner with the Managing Director – B2B, Sales leadership, Product, Finance, and other functional leaders to drive revenue, build brand equity, expand global markets, and lead a high-performing marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and execution of the global B2B marketing strategy for the organization’s clients and Audience Product Offering that aligns with the company’s business objectives, product roadmap, customer segmentation and expansion strategy (regions, verticals, logos).
  • Own the marketing P&L:
    Develop and manage a significant marketing budget, allocate investment across growth channels, partnerships, brand, community, and demand generation, measure ROI and adapt investments accordingly.
  • Build, develop and scale a world-class, global marketing organization: define structure (Growth Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Solutions, Sales Enablement, Brand & Community), hire senior marketing leaders (Directors/Heads), define goals, KPI framework, culture, and leadership bench.
  • Drive demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), account retention/expansion, and funnel optimization at scale: ensure robust lead pipelines, marketing-sourced pipelines, new logo acquisition, existing account growth, and global channel/partner activation.
  • Lead brand transformation: refine and elevate the company’s global brand positioning, messaging, taglines, and communication strategies across all channels and geographies. Ensure consistent brand experience and communicate thought leadership in the tech-B2B marketing space.
  • Leverage the unique community, data assets, and platform of Spiceworks: develop ecosystem/partner marketing programs, community engagement strategies, data-driven insight programs, intent-based marketing models, and differentiated value propositions for enterprise, strategic, and growth accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership (VPs of Sales, regional heads) to align marketing and sales motions: drive sales enablement programs (training, materials, go-to-market execution), provide market intelligence, translate value props into executable campaigns, and ensure marketing plays a key role in revenue growth.
  • Lead cross-functional strategy: partner with Product, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and Analytics teams to influence product direction, customer programs, pricing strategy, market expansion, and new business models.
  • Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (Mar Tech, AI, marketing automation, and analytics), and identify growth opportunities (new segments, geographies, and M&A integrations) to keep the company ahead.
  • Define and track marketing metrics: set and report on KPIs such as marketing-sourced revenue, pipeline contribution, CAC, CLV, funnel velocity, brand awareness/consideration, digital engagement, and community growth. Present results to executive leadership and the board as needed.
  • Act as a thought leader and external ambassador: represent the company at industry forums, lead partnerships/alliances, manage analyst relations, and help build the corporate reputation and category leadership of the brand.
Job Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in B2B technology or marketing solutions sectors, with global and multi-brand experience.
  • 10+ years managing senior marketing leaders (Directors/Heads) across multiple disciplines and geographies.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, scaling marketing organizations, building global brand identity, and managing large budgets and marketing P&L.
